Short, practical answers

The questions below are grouped by service and pricing, customs documents, transit times, cargo types, and payment and tracking. Answers are based on day-to-day practice; send us your cargo details for an exact answer.

Service and pricing

What is the minimum shipment size?

UZLogis accepts cargo from 40 kg: from small consignments up to a full truckload or container. We do not handle small e-commerce parcels.

What determines the price and how fast do you quote?

The price depends on the route, volume and weight, cargo type, loading method (groupage or full truckload) and season. We provide an exact quote and transit time within 24 hours.

How do I place an order?

Send us your cargo details (type, volume, weight, destination city) — we calculate the price and transit time. Once agreed, the cargo is collected in China and prepared for dispatch.

Customs and documents

Which documents are required?

Usually a commercial invoice, packing list, contract, consignment note (CMR for road, SMGS for rail) and certificates depending on the cargo type. We prepare the document list for your specific cargo.

Who handles customs clearance?

We organise export clearance in China and customs clearance in Uzbekistan, working together with local brokers.

Are there cargo types that need certification?

Yes. Food products, chemicals, electrical equipment and some other categories may require certification or a permit. Tell us the cargo type and we will tell you in advance which documents are needed.

Transit times and routes

Which route should I choose?

For the Fergana Valley Irkeshtam is the shortest; for large volumes a container train is the most economical; for door-to-door delivery and smaller consignments the Khorgos road route is the most convenient.

How long does delivery take?

Around 7–12 days to Tashkent, 8–13 days to the Fergana Valley, 9–15 days to Samarkand and Bukhara, and 10–16 days to Urgench and Nukus. Times depend on the border, customs and season.

Does the season affect transit times?

Yes. In winter mountain roads (for example the Kamchik pass) and borders can be affected by weather, and queues grow before holidays. We therefore recommend keeping a 2–3 day buffer.

Cargo types

Which cargo do you not handle?

We do not handle dangerous or prohibited goods, or small e-commerce parcels. For chemicals, food products and cargo containing batteries we check permits in advance.

Can you ship oversized cargo?

Yes. For oversized and heavy cargo we arrange a full truckload or a special platform — let us know the weight and dimensions in advance.

Payment, tracking and insurance

How does payment work?

Payment terms are fixed in the contract: usually part payment (an advance and the balance after delivery). The currency and payment method are agreed in advance.

Can I track and insure the cargo?

Yes. Cargo is tracked from the moment it leaves China and we report the status regularly. Insurance against cargo value is also available — the premium is calculated based on the declared value.
